Description:

Early – maturing (FAO 170) Recommended for seeds and forage usage. Registered in National Registry of Selection Achievements Eligible for Usage in Central Region, Middle – Volgian Region, West Siberian Region and North-West Region.

Based on data received from variety test plots, seeds maturation average period in Central Black Earth and Middle – Volgian regions is 111 days. Forage maturation average period in Central, Central Black Earth, Volgo-Vyatskiy and Lower – Volgain regions is 95 days.

Plant height is 240-260 cm, non-tiller. Low cone-shaped maize cob at height 70-75 cm, weight of cob is 110-140 g, length – 18-20 cm. Rodnik (Springlet) 180 SV has got yellow half-dent seeds, weight of 1000 seeds approximately equal 270-300g. Ear shank is in red or white color.

Hybrid is well resistant to basic plant and maize cob diseases, highly resistant to boil smut. Also, hybrid is cold resistant in case of early sowing.

Recommended degree of density in case of seeds and forage sowing, on bogharic lands is 60 thousand of plants per hectare, on irrigated lands – 75 thousand of plants per hectare.

On the base of national crop variety testing results, the highest yield of corn seeds has been shown on the Sovetskiy State Seed-Trial Ground in the Kursk Region – 125.7 hundred kilograms per hectare.

On-the-farm test performed showed the following forage yield:

Agricultural Production Co-operative Rodina, the Tula Region – 476 hundred kilograms per hectare,

LLC Agrotechnologiya, Pronskyi district of the Tula Region – 546 hundred kilograms per hectare,

Scientific-Research Institute of Agriculture and Breeding in Zhodino, the Republic of Belarus – 693 hundred kilograms per hectare.

Demonstration tests performed by Agricultural Consulting Center has shown high yield of forage in Kirov, Moscow and Yaroslav regions.
